The 12 Olympian Gods
A wonderful book about the 12 Olympian gods that takes children on a journey through the mythology of our land. Guided by the writings of Herodotus, Homer, and Hesiod, the author describes the complex relationships between gods and humans in Ancient Greece in a simple and imaginative way. Starting with the Theogony, it teaches children about the distinct personalities of the Olympian gods, which essentially mirror the many unique personalities of the people in the society we live in. By reading, listening to, and singing about the 12 gods, children discover the fears, passions, joys, sorrows, dreams, and expectations of our human nature.Information
