Sun, salt water, chlorine, and sunscreen can be harsh on your swimwear and cause colors to fade, but with the right care, your swimsuit should last you through many seasons of fun! Take a pre-shower Follow good hygiene by showering before heading to the pool, but there is another benefit to a pre-shower. Pool water contains chlorine and other chemicals that are harmful to swimsuit fabric. This weakens the elastic and will directly affect the fit of your swimsuit.
