Sun, salt water, chlorine and sunscreen can be stressful for your swimwear and cause color fading, but with the right care your swimsuits should take you through seasons of fun! Read our tips below to keep your UPF50+ swimsuits looking beautiful and functional. Take a pre-shower Following good hygiene by showering before going into the pool is great, but there is another benefit to a pre-shower. Pool water contains chlorine and other chemicals, which are harmful to swimsuit fabric. Wash gently and rinse well with cold water. Do not soak your swimsuits as this is bad for the fibers and causes them to lose their elasticity. Do not wring out your swimsuits. This causes the elastic to weaken and will directly affect the fit of your swimsuit.
